The Trap Bar for Back-Friendly Strength Training
The Gorilla Sports Trap Bar puts you inside the weight instead of behind it. Standing in the centre of the hex bar keeps your load centred and your spine neutral through every hex bar deadlift, shrug and farmer's walk.
Whether you're new to lifting or chasing a new PR, the inner side handles let you grip more naturally and pull with more control than a straight barbell.
Hexagonal Frame, Two Grips Per Side
The hexagonal frame lets you stand in the middle of the bar, so the load travels straight through your body instead of in front of it. That takes pressure off your lower back and makes heavy sets safer.
Two knurled grips per side give you two handle heights for extra exercise variety and a secure hold, even with sweaty hands.
Chrome-Plated Steel, 270 kg Capacity
The chrome-plated steel frame with roughly 3 cm tube thickness handles up to 270 kg, plenty of headroom for your heaviest sets. This trap bar takes Olympic weight plates with a 50/51 mm bore, and each sleeve offers 25 cm of loading space.
Two spring collars are included to keep your plates locked in place. Pair it with a floor protection mat for quiet, floor-friendly training in your home gym.
