Description

For Pull-Ups: Multifunctional Pull-Up Bar in Black from Gorilla Sports

Pull-ups have always been one of the most effective self-weight exercises: They ensure a broad back and also train the biceps. The multifunctional pull-up bar from Gorilla Sports consists of a sturdy tubular steel construction with a diameter of 3 cm and allows you 10 different grip variations. The soft foam rubber coating provides a secure grip and guarantees optimum comfort. The other data at a glance:

  • Suitable for door frames with min. 3.5 cm and max. 16 cm thickness and 80-100 cm internal dimensions
  • Height of fastening device: 20 cm
  • Maximum load capacity: 200 kg
  • Delivery includes mounting accessories and instructions
  • Dimensions (W x D x H): 103.5 x 41.5 x  23.5 cm

How The Different Grip Variations Work During Pull-up Training with the Multifunctional Pull-Up Bar

The hand position and grip width determine which muscles are more affected by pull-ups. As a general rule, a narrow grip works the biceps more, while a wide grip requires more work from the latissimus. With tight pull-ups, you can also increase the effect on the biceps by performing them with an underhand grip (palms facing you) instead of an overhand grip. The multifunctional pull-up bar also allows you to perform pull-ups with a particularly ergonomic parallel grip, allowing you to get the most out of your muscles.
