Bumper Plates High Temp
Olympic Standard for Your Home Gym

Built for Hard Drops. Made for Real Training.

The Gorilla Sports Hi Temp Bumper Plates are made for athletes who drop their barbell. The Hi Temp process at 160C fuses the steel core and rubber coating into an extremely resistant unit for maximum durability, even under intense use.

With 50/51 mm hole diameter, the plates fit all Olympic barbells. The medium dampening protects floor and equipment, while the uniform 45 cm diameter across all weights ensures proper deadlift height.

Stronger Every Rep.

The Gorilla Sports Hi Temp Bumper Plates are your upgrade for serious weight training. Drop the barbell the plates can take it. Your Home, Your Gym.

First, the hole diameter matters: there are plates for 30/31 mm bars and Olympic versions with 50/51 mm. You can't mix them. Weights range from 0.5 to 25 kg depending on the set, and gripper models have extra grip openings for safe handling. Buy in pairs so your dumbbell loads evenly.
Rubber plates have a metal core with rubber coating: they protect your floor and equipment when set down, but aren't designed for dropping. Bumper plates, including Hi Temp versions, are made entirely of rubber with a uniform diameter and withstand controlled drops during cleans, snatches, and deadlifts. For classic barbell training, rubber plates are enough; for functional training with drops from height, you need bumpers.
Wipe the plates regularly with a damp cloth and store them dry on a stand instead of stacked flat on the floor. Direct sun and heating vents make rubber fade and become brittle over time. The typical rubber smell from new plates fades naturally if you store them in a well-ventilated room at first.
The Hi-Temp process at 160 °C fuses the steel core and rubber coating into an extremely durable unit that won't tear or come apart even after thousands of drops.
Yes, all weight classes have a uniform 45 cm diameter, the international standard for competition bumper plates. This keeps the deadlift height the same with every weight.
