Hip bands are nowadays used both in the gym (here especially in the course area) and in the home gym. With their help, it is possible to further intensify the training of the thighs in particular. The principle behind the practical hip band is quickly explained. Once applied, the Hip Band can help to work the thigh muscles even more - for example in connection with squats, squat thrusts and jumps. The tension keeps the legs in an even more controlled position and increases the training effect.
So that you can work out at the intensity that best suits your fitness level, hip bands are offered in different intensities (from L for "light" to M for "medium" to S for "heavy"). The rule here is: the more intense the hip band, the more resistance!
Especially if you are just starting with leg training, it is usually a good idea to start with L or maximum M. Advanced athletes should have found the right challenge in the S variant.
